Being caught in the middle of a conflict and facing the consequences.
The idea came from when Jimi was in a Construction class and the professor stuttered when explaining how a truss was in tension. Thus came the line "my intentions are in tension". Being the messenger of bad news, where do my intentions lie? Which side am I on?
